Teresa
Bloom (Barss) is a respected Yoga Master and Healer. Introduced to yoga
by her father at the age of 17, Terri has continued her study of this
ancient science for more than 30 years.
With more than 12 years of teaching experience, Terri is a Registered
Yoga Teacher (ERYT- 500) with Yoga Alliance, an international organization
dedicated to setting standards of professionalism and quality in the
yoga industry. She is certified in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga, Pilates
and is a Reiki Master.
Terri has studied a wide range of disciplines from Feng Shui, Emotional
Freedom Techniques (EFT), philosophy and metaphysics, as well as being
a guest lecturer on behalf of the Integrative Medicine with Dr. Andrew
Weil at the University of Arizona.
Terri has established herself as a credible and knowledgeable speaker
and has given wellness lectures to various Canadian and U.S. corporations.
She is the Yoga Director at Total Balance where she is responsible for
organizing and facilitating the Teacher Training program.
An accomplished professional watercolor and mixed media artist, Terri
has served on the Board of Directors for Art*Works, the University of
Arizona, College of Medicine. She is owner/creator of YogArt International,
a company that offers workshops combining yoga and art in a liberally
formatted program.

A former ballet
dancer, she offers a unique style of teaching by guiding her students
with a blended series of postures, stretches and movement all combined
with meditation, breath control and energy healing techniques. Terri
is dedicated to helping her clients and students achieve their goals
whether it is for strengthening, balancing and toning their body, relieving
stress or maintaining mental and physical awareness.
